Why SeaYou on the boat? — This marine-focused glass cleaner lifts salt film, spray haze and fingerprints streak-free, runs off in a controlled way and stays kind to real glass, polycarbonate and acrylic windows – for a clear view in the cockpit, on deck and down in the cabin.
THE FINISHER SeaYou Glass Cleaner is the clear answer for marine viewing surfaces: it pulls off salt and spray film, water spots and sunscreen smears fast and streak-free. The mild, balanced formula suits boat windows in glass just as well as polycarbonate/acrylic (think sprayhood, hardtop and cabin windows) and leaves a calm, low-glare finish. Perfect after an exterior wash with CleanMarine or as a quick step in the harbour – for confident navigation and a clean cockpit.
Marine glass cleaner has to do more than shift everyday dust: salt crystallises, holds moisture and bends light; spray brings organic residue along, sunscreen leaves smeary fingerprints. THE FINISHER SeaYou Glass Cleaner steps in right here: wetting additives spread the actives evenly, loosen the layer in a controlled way and wipe it off with no rainbow film. The surface stays clear, edges stay crisp and reflections look less busy – which matters against the light or on a night run. Because SeaYou flashes off with barely any residue, it works on bigger panes too, without you constantly having to "chase it with a polish".
Application couldn't be simpler: work in the shade, keep off hot surfaces. Spray THE FINISHER SeaYou Glass Cleaner onto a clean, tightly woven microfibre cloth (not straight onto edges or seals), wipe the surface in straight passes and buff dry with a fresh side of the cloth. On stubborn water spots let it dwell briefly; on polycarbonate/acrylic use minimal pressure and "straight strokes" to avoid fine wiper lines. Give the wiper blades a quick clean too – that keeps the sweep calm. After the route wash with CleanMarine, SeaYou is your fast visibility check before casting off; for exterior paint and deck, CleanMarine, BodyGuard & Co. stay in charge.
Compatibility covers tempered glass, polycarbonate (e.g. Makrolon) and acrylic/Plexiglas in the cockpit and cabin. THE FINISHER SeaYou Glass Cleaner flashes off clean, with no tacky residue. Avoid over-wetting seals and instruments, work panel by panel and keep your cloths clean – don't let salt and sand ride along. It's not meant as a limescale remover for old, baked-on water spots; shadows like that may need a gentle, material-safe polish. For automotive glass we've got the dedicated ClearView in the line – SeaYou stays the specialist for the boat.
Yes, for polycarbonate and acrylic on board. Work with a clean cloth, light pressure and straight strokes so you don't get fine wiper lines.
Yes, the film loosens in a controlled way and flashes off with barely any residue. The key is clean, salt-free cloths and working in the shade.
In the cockpit, spray onto the cloth instead, to avoid over-wetting edges and instruments. Out on deck in calm air, spraying directly is fine.
Light spots yes. Baked-in limescale rings may need a careful, material-safe polish. Always test on a hidden spot first.
Absolutely. A few sprays onto the cloth, wipe in passes, buff dry – done. Ideal after casting off or before a night run.
