What is COLOURLOCK Top Life used for? — The surface protection stabilises freshly dyed leather, protects the colour layer from abrasion, sweat and friction, and significantly extends the durability of the repair or dyeing result.
COLOURLOCK Top Life is a special surface protection that is applied after dyeing or refreshing leather. It forms a thin, transparent protective layer that fixes the new colour layer and protects it from mechanical abrasion, skin oils, sweat and daily wear and tear. Especially with freshly dyed leather, Top Life ensures that the result remains stable, ages evenly and retains its appearance longer.

Protective Film Technology & Mechanism of Action
After application, Top Life forms a flexible, breathable protective film over the dyed leather surface. At the same time, the protective layer acts as a barrier against dirt particles, skin oils and sweat, which would otherwise significantly shorten the lifespan of freshly dyed leather surfaces.
Application, Coverage & Best Practices
After dyeing or refreshing, the leather surface should be completely dry. COLOURLOCK Top Life is applied thinly and evenly with a soft cloth or sponge. After a short flash-off time, the protection is absorbed without leaving any residue. Especially for heavily used areas such as seats, steering wheels, armrests or furniture edges, Top Life is recommended as an additional protective step before regular use. The application can be repeated regularly if necessary.
Results, Areas of Application & Delimitation
After application, the leather surface is more resistant, colour-stable and easier to maintain. Top Life is suitable for freshly dyed or refreshed automotive leather, furniture, bags, shoes and accessories. It does not replace a top coat for structural repairs, but serves as an additional surface protection after dyeing, especially if no new clear coat is built up.
