The Koch-Chemie Boat Descaling Wash is a highly effective, acidic shampoo for the thorough cleaning of hulls and decks. Thanks to its rich-foaming formula, it effortlessly cuts through water spots, salt residue and stubborn grime. Ideal for reactivating the Ceramic Boat Hull Cbh0.01, since it lifts dirt without touching the ceramic coating. Perfect for gelcoat, paint, stainless steel and plastic surfaces around the boat's exterior.

A perfect clean for gelcoat, stainless steel & plastic
The Koch-Chemie Boat Descaling Wash was built specifically for the exterior surfaces of boats and works a treat on gelcoat, stainless steel, painted surfaces and plastic. It cuts through salt residue, water spots and the other stubborn deposits that build up fast in a marine environment. Thanks to its acidic formulation, the shampoo gets you a deep-pore clean without damaging delicate surfaces.
Keeps the ceramic coating & its hydrophobic properties alive
On ceramic-coated boats in particular, the right care makes all the difference. This shampoo was made to lift dirt and deposits without touching the Ceramic Boat Hull Cbh0.01 coating. The water- and dirt-repelling properties of the ceramic layer stay intact and even get reactivated, so your boat keeps that solid protection.
Easy to use, for maximum results
For the best results, clear off the heavy grime first with an alkaline cleaner and a pressure wash. Then dilute the Boat Descaling Wash at 1:200 (50 ml to 10 L of water) and lay it on with a wash mitt or a foam lance. Rinse the boat down thoroughly so nothing's left behind, and ideally dry it off to stop fresh limescale spots forming.
