The S100 Dry Lube Chain Spray from Dr. Wack pulls together the best of grease and dry lubrication in one clever hybrid formula. Easy to use, easy on product

Using the S100 Dry Lube Chain Spray couldn't be simpler: shake the can well before use, flip out the spray tube and lay a thin, even coat on the inside of a clean, dry chain. Then let it dry for at least an hour, ideally overnight. The new spray head puts it down precisely and sparingly, so a can goes a long way. Re-treat the chain after long rides in the rain, or at the latest every ~600 km.

Schüttle die Dose vor Gebrauch gut und klappe das Sprührohr aus. Reinige die Kette und lass sie vollständig trocknen — auf nasser oder verschmutzter Kette hält der Film schlechter. Sprühe das Dry Lube dann dünn und gleichmäßig auf die Innenseite der Kette, damit das Mittel durch die Drehung nach außen verteilt wird.

Lass die transparente Schutzschicht anschließend mindestens eine Stunde abbinden, idealerweise über Nacht. So bleibt die Schmierung trocken und flexibel, schleudert nicht ab und hält das Kettenumfeld sauber. Die Formel mit PTFE ist für O-, X- und Z-Ringe geeignet.

Behandle die Kette nach längeren Regenfahrten oder spätestens nach rund 600 km nach. So bleiben Verschleiß- und Korrosionsschutz erhalten und die Kettenfarbe unverändert. Grenze: Ein Dry Lube baut weniger sichtbaren Fettfilm auf als klassisches Kettenfett — wer auf hohe Laufleistungen unter Volllast geht, sollte die Intervalle eher kürzer wählen.
