Koch-Chemie Tinten- & Kuli-Ex "Tex" – The Go-To Ink and Ballpoint-Pen Remover

The Koch-Chemie Tinten- & Kuli-Ex "Tex" is built to pull ink and ballpoint-pen marks off fabrics fast and thoroughly. A blend of dedicated solvents and cleaning agents breaks down dried-in colour pigments, and a bit of gentle dabbing lifts the stain out completely. The fresh orange scent makes the job a lot nicer to do, too. The Tinten- & Kuli-Ex contains no halogenated hydrocarbons, which makes it a solvent option that plays nice with plenty of fabrics.

  • Fast, thorough stain removal: Cuts through ink and ballpoint marks on solvent-resistant fabrics.
  • Easy to use: Lay it on with a microfibre cloth, work the stain loose, then dab it up with an absorbent cloth.
  • Pleasant scent: A fresh orange aroma makes it nicer to work with.

Lift ink stains safely and fast

The Koch-Chemie Tinten- & Kuli-Ex is made for the stubborn marks that ink and ballpoint pens leave on fabrics. The solvents inside sink deep into the fibres and break down the colour pigments, which you then lift out with a simple dab of a cloth. For really stubborn stains, just repeat the step until it looks the way you want. The key thing: don't rub the stain — only dab it gently, so you go easy on the fabric fibres.

Works across a wide range of fabrics

This one is great on solvent-resistant fabrics, so you can use it across loads of different materials. Clothing, upholstered furniture, car seats — the Tinten- & Kuli-Ex pulls stains out effectively without chewing up the material. It really earns its keep in car detailing, since it lets you spot-clean one area without dragging the rest of the fabric into it.

Simple to handle, dialled-in results

Using it couldn't be simpler: you lay it straight onto the stain with a microfibre cloth, then dab the loosened stain up with a dry, absorbent cloth. For heavier soiling, run through the step again. For a clean finish, give the area a follow-up pass with a suitable textile cleaner like Pol Star.
